All registered students of the University of Patras are entitled to a free University Sports Center membership card, which is issued and renewed annually. The card is valid from September 1st to July 31st of each academic year.
In order to obtain the University Sports Center membership card, students must submit the following documents:
- Application form– paper version available at the University Sports Center Secretariat, 1st floor, 09:00-13:00 (can also be sent via email)
- Two photos
- Medical certificate of aptitude for sports activity (valid for one calendar year) signed by a personal physician (general practitioner, cardiologist) or public healthcare provider (hospital, EOPY, etc.). Students who are male and female athletes can provide a copy of the health certificate from their sports club.
- Solemn declaration – available both in electronic and paper format (at the University Sports Center Sectetariat)
- Student ID or recent Certificate of Study (to be shown only)
The membership card is issued within one to three working days. Students can pick it up from the Secretariat daily or from the entrance post of the University Sports Center in the afternoon.
